Valromey-sur-Séran. Starry Nights: “Between 30 and 70 shooting stars visible per hour” in Ain

Every year, the event is a marvelous one. This weekend (August 1st to 3rd) is Les Nuits des étoiles, an opportunity for the curious to observe the Perseid meteor shower, one of the most abundant of the year. "We can see a rate of between 30 and 70 shooting stars per hour. It's not the best time of year, but it's already impressive," says Kévin Favier, scientific mediator at the Lèbe Observatory. For this annual event, the site, created in the 2000s, is once again getting into battle order.
